(Primary and Secondary Schools)
This course helps schools meet the new legislation for promoting British values and building resilience among young people prone to radicalisation and extremism.
As part of this legislation, the Government now expects schools to educate young people on the five key concepts around British Values. These are democracy, the rule of Law, mutual respect, individual liberty and tolerance of different faiths and beliefs. This also forms part of their spiritual, moral, social and cultural education. As part of the Ofsted inspection, inspectors will assess how schools are promoting British Values through SMSC.
REWIND UK has designed an interactive course for primary and secondary schools along with an advice course for teaching staff, where each of these values is addressed. The course is delivered in a safe space where debate and interaction is positively encouraged.
